THE U-BALL
U-Balls are the only patented portable basket stands available on the market today. Made of black primed coated
steel,U-Balls are extremely durable and made to provide additional support and protection to wire baskets and burlap. They come in three basket sizes of 28, 32 and 36 inch of 25 or 30 degrees. Spading trees with the help of U-Balls makes it easier to ball and burlap trees in less time and with fewer workers. U-Balls are comprised of two halves joined together by removable pins. On each side is an extended tab that fits over forks so Trees can be safely lifted and moved with a front-loader. This makes hauling, loading and unloading trees is quick, safe and easy. In nurseries, U-Balls are the perfect way to store large trees. When they are used with our fitted polyethylene inserts, root ball moisture is retained and mulch unnecessary. Garden centers too, can benefit from U-Balls, not only as a storage devise, but also a means of prominently displaying specimen trees at high traffic areas.
